Calgary, Alberta – August 26, 2013 (TSX-V: FLY) – FLYHT Aerospace Solutions Ltd. (“FLYHT”) reported today that the AFIRS 228™ has received certification from the Iridium Communications System (“Iridium”) for the commercial use of the AFIRS 228S on the Iridium system.
FLYHT has completed the certification protocol to obtain Iridium Compatible Equipment (“ICE”) certification. The process involved FLYHT submitting a test plan to Iridium for approval and based on that approval FLYHT executed the test plan under Iridium’s oversight. The ICE certification was granted by Iridium, as a result.
