FLYHT set to shine on the Vegas Strip

The biggest aviation show in the United States is taking place in Las Vegas from October 10 to 12, the National Business Aviation Association’s convention. Thousands of people from the business aviation world will flock to sin city to participate in meetings, panel discussions and the exhibition. SatCom License Opens Gateway for Business Jets in China

FLYHT and its partner in China, SKYBLUE Technology Development Ltd.  (“SKYBLUE”) are attending the 2011 Annual Convention of the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) in Las Vegas from October 10 to 12. The team is meeting with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and operators at the show to discuss regulations in China and Satellite Communications (SatCom) equipage of aircraft compliant in China.

FLYHT’s Automated Flight Information Reporting System (“AFIRSTM”) is a solution for many different types of aircraft, including business jets. The Company was featured in Aviation Week’s Business & Commercial Aviation magazine in August 2011, with part two of the article released in this month’s magazine. The article, about in-flight monitoring systems, provides an in-depth look into FLYHT’s technology as well as some other products in the marketplace. The author, David Esler discusses how in-flight monitoring systems, such as AFIRS, are getting smaller, lighter and digital while collecting, recording and transmitting data from the aircraft to the ground. Director General speaks highly of FLYHT

The Daily Independent paper in Lagos recently interviewed Dr. Demuren, the Director General of the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA). FLYHT has been working with the NCAA since March of 2010. The commissioning of the NCAA’s Flight Tracking Operations Command Centre took place in April 2011. This was the first such project for FLYHT, and as evident in the interview, is of great value to the NCAA. Continue reading
